Rules/ Regulations
Rules
General Rules
1. No God moding. Seriously, everyone hates it and it’s completely rude.
2. Stay in character at all times. All post done in
dc_vs_marvel must be in character. If you wish to talk to the mods or anyone in the community in general use the
dc_marvel_ooc which is specifically done for OOC chats.
3. Respect fellow players and your mods. No drama please, everything is fictional. If any problems between characters start affecting your real live self, contact the mods- we can help.
4. Follow the Golden Rule. Character bashing, rude racial comments- if it isn’t nice don’t say it. Keep your comments to yourself. Causing trouble will get you banned.
5. Follow Proper Writing etiquette. Do NoT TaLk LiKe UR on AIM! Keep your spelling and grammar punctuations.
6. Ask permission for extreme plots. If you plan to do the following contact a mod: killing a character, limes(rape… you’ll be surprised) suicide, extreme illness or injury, drug uses. Only reason we’re asking so no characters get too affected or cut off.
7. Be creative.
8. 2 (two) character per person. Subject to change ones the community reaches a maximum of 10(ten) people updating.
9. You must be 16+. Obviously, this isn’t just a walk in the park.
10. Follow all rules and respect the mods. The mods are here to help. You be nice to them, they will be nice to you.
11. Time Line. The timeline for the story is set for current. So whatever happened/happens in the comics needs to be acknowledge.
Posting In Your Journals
1. Must be in first person. This is you; you are the character you chose to be. Talk about the incidents of the day, anything in general. It lets other people understand your character better.
2. Reading personal journals is a must. Everyone must be up to date on what everyone is doing.
3. All RP post’s go in the RP page- not personal journals.
4. Replies in personal journals must be in the characters point of view- In character. If you want to talk to other people spin an out of character format, post in the OOC.
5. Replies to character profiles have exceptions. All character journal posts are supposed to be in their point of view and only for them. If they write a letter or a message to a character then another character can reply. Just in character. Example, you can make things private.
Posting In The RP
1. Each thread must at least have these four great essentials.
a. Who- as in what characters are allowed. Also state if it’s opened or closed.
b. What – What’s going on, the scenario.
c. Where- Where are they, location.
d. When- Afternoon, morning- before sunset. Think of of time and.
** Here's the format to follow: THREAD / E-MAIL Formats
2. Ratings will only be asked for if there’s explicit content. Sexual, verbal or any type of explicit content must be put into a rating. Just like the movies.
3. Each post must have a subject line. You can name it whatever you want- a small brief summary of what is going on. You must also post the status whether complete or incomplete.
